Skincare Haul!

Hi guys! So today I just popped into town with the fam as it is summer and I should probably get out a bit more, and while I was there I went to the 99p store to kill some time while my father and brothers were in a different shop. While looking at the skincare section I noticed they had some pretty good brand names and products that I'd never tried before. I've been pretty bad lately with taking my makeup off, some nights I'll use wet wipes to take my makeup off or I'll simply just be lazy and do it the morning after. (ughy I know). Me being me, I wanted to pick everything up but I limited it down to 3 things. For about 2-3 years now I've suffered with bad skin and I've tried way too many products to clear it up. So now I'm on a roll to improve my skin, so I'm going to try out using these!

 

I was instantly drawn to this when I noticed it said 'pink grapefruit' (and also maybe because of the colour)It also smells amazing!

 

I was looking for something to clean my pores and I found this and I thought why not?!

I was on the hunt for a moisturizer that will help my skin to look healthy and there was so many to choose from. I really don't know what my skin type is as some days it'll be really dry and the next it will be oily, maybe combination? I don't know. It doesn't say it's a moisturizer on the front but I read the back and it says it "leaves the skin feeling moisturized" and "helps to restore the skins natural glow" or something like that. It's also mattifying and leaves the skin feeling soft. So I'm going to give this a try!

I'm going to give each of these products a try and see how I get on with them, so you might see some mini reviews on the way soon!!

Hair Inspiration!

So I'm pretty fussy about my hair and what I like it to look like, so here's a few pictures of hairstyles that inspire me!

 

 Kylie Jenner is number one on my list, like she doesn't have to do anything with her hair and it still looks perfect!! (sigh)

Here's another one, She makes me want to go chocolate brown so bad, and those sunglasses rock.

 

 

Not the best quality, but Lou Teasdale (One Directions hair & makeup artist) has been a massive inspiration of mine for a long time. She makes me want to go pastel so bad, but I'm just not prepared for the damage that comes along with it. Maybe one day soon though!

 

Yet again another pastel colour, its just perfect aghhh.

 

  Lily Collins' hair is just so natural and "care free" looking, and I'm really loving those types of styles at the minute as you can tell!!

And last but not least is Lily Melrose. This is actually the style I've been wearing the past few days as it's so quick and easy. All I do to achieve this look is to quickly run the straighteners through my hair to create loose curls, use some salt spray, and finish with hair spray.

Summer walk!

So on Wednesday I took my dog for a walk up the mountain along with my parents and younger sister! Sometimes I forget that all of this is right outside my house.

I tried getting real close to the lamb and it's mother but they ran away (sigh)

Chill day!

We all have those days where we just have no motivation to go out (me everyday) but on those days do you ever just see a picture or watch a video that makes you want to do your hair and makeup for no apparent reason at all?! Well that's exactly what I done today. 

Apparently I was feeling extra posy today, so here's a couple of crappy webcam pictures I took! Will maybe go out soon to catch the last of the sunlight, who knows?!

Puppy Pipkin

So today my mother, sister, and I went to pick up our 5 week old puppy (although they aren't really allowed to leave the mother until they're 8 weeks) but the litter of puppies we got ours from were all ready above the developmental norms, so it was fine! It's a cross breed between a whippet and a greyhound, which is pretty good because it should get along with our other dog which is a whippet like a house on fire.

 

She's so tiny, this picture doesn't do her justice!

Sleepy puppy!

I love how on one side of her face she has a square shape, and then on the other side, a circle! 

We haven't thought of a name yet as it's hard for the whole family to agree on, but a few of us like pipkin haha.

When she's older she's going to be a bit larger than a whippet and more bulkier as she's mixed with a greyhound. But I'm so excited for her to be fully grown as her furr will look so silky and smooth!

Summer Wants!

As summer is amongst us, it is time to start transitioning from your wintery clothes to more summery ones. (Not that we get that much sun in the UK anyway).

We all have those summer clothes that we've been eying up throughout the winter so here are a few things I have found that are currently on my "want" list!

First off is a nice bikini - This one from Topshop is £30.00 but you can buy the top and bottoms separate for about £12.00 each!

Next on the list is a black fedora. I've been dying to get one of these as they can really make it look like you've put a lot more effort into an outfit when really you've only chucked a hat on your head!

Currently on trend are the black high waisted mom jeans with the rip in the knees! I'm definitely getting me a pair of these for this summer!

Last on the list is a fujifilm instax mini camera! These can range from £50+ and are great for the summer to take wherever you want and are great for capturing instant pictures which you can give to friends or keep for yourself!
